COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Board gets positive audit report
Mitchell County DSS Director Sara Ross said Monday, Nov. 4, during a meeting of the DSS Board more than 200 people, 40 vendors and 200 vendor participants attended the Medicaid Transformation and Community Resource Fair Saturday, Nov. 2, at Mitchell High School, during which 74 people were screened for enrollment and 67 were enrolled. John Williams and his wife, Whitney, arrange inflatable bouncy houses inside their new business, Wren and Wrae’s Clubhouse, at 218 Oak Ave. in Spruce Pine. The clubhouse offers inflatables, toys and other options for children while Whitney, a personal trainer, will use part of the building to host a variety of exercise classes for adults.
