BAKERSVILLE – The following arrests took place between Saturday, Nov. 2, and Monday, Nov. 11, according to reports on file at the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office:

Kameron Allen Calloway, 26, of 71 Calloway Creek Lane, Newland, was arrested by Deputy W. Hobson for failure to appear in court on a reckless driving offense. He was issued a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Justin Bradley Johnson, 31, of 331 Fox Den Lane, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy W. Hobson for misdemeanor failure to pay child support. His purge payment is $425, with a total sum of $9,169.45.

Katlyn Nicole Stewart, 30, of 541 Altapass Church of God Road, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy W. Hobson for misdemeanor probation violations. She was issued a $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Richard A Mayers, 57, of Oak Ave. Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy D. Buchanan for failure to appear in court on traffic citations. He was issued a $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Lyndsay Rhea Rainey, 31, of 23 Ridge Crest Drive, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy J. Masters for felony probation violations. She was issued a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.

Trenton Raymond Crowder, 22, of 331 Fox Den Road, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy M. Hylemon for misdemeanor giving false information to law enforcement and failure to appear in court on communicating threats, assault on a government official and resisting public officer charges. He was issued a $21,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Thomas W. Moody, 29, of 129 Almalene Drive, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy M. Hylemon for failure to appear in court for driving with license revoked. He was issued a $3,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Nicholas Ryan Buchanan, 23, of 703 Gouge Cove Road, Bakersville, was arrested by Det. S. Hughes for felony intentional child abuse causing serious bodily injury. He was issued a $500,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4.

Martha Elizabeth Stamey, 33, of 80 Louis Drive, Spruce Pine, was arrested by Deputy N. Bowman for misdemeanor larceny. She was issued a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.
