Book signing

Fundraiser pageant
The Miss High Country Fundraiser Pageant is a day of fun and glamour to raise money for the Mitchell County Shop With a Cop program. The pageant is 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Robin Austin Memorial Center at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 12021 US 19E in Spruce Pine. The entry fee is $25 plus one winter coat or a $20 Walmart gift card, with the proceeds going to the Shop With a Cop program.
