Local European eatery eyes February takeout opening

SPRUCE PINE — Gustoso Ristorante, a new European restaurant in downtown Spruce Pine, will finally be opening for takeout in the coming weeks.
The “available” sign at the old Bojangles building in Spruce Pine near Walmart is finally coming down. Puerto Nuevo Mexican and Seafood Restaurant will soon call the building home. The owners plan to remodel the building. A grand opening date will be announced at a later time.

New Mexican restaurant coming soon to former Bojangles building

SPRUCE PINE — A new Mexican restaurant will soon make its way to Mitchell County.  Puerto Nuevo Mexican and Seafood Restaurant is coming to the building that used to house Bojangles near Walmart directly off U.S. Highway 226 South.
