The Mitchell County Historical Society is pleased to announce Marsha Biddix is the group’s new office manager.
Besides assisting the board of directors with various projects in its mission to preserve Mitchell County’s heritage, Biddix welcomes visitors to the MCHS offices in the Historic Courthouse in Bakersville.
Biddix has an impressive knowledge of Mitchell County history ready to share with researchers. Check out the research library, purchase books and ornaments, or get a tour of the MCHS museum. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Biddix lives in Spruce Pine with her husband, David, and children Amanda, James and Olivia.
