Local Cub Scouts plant trees in Yancey

BURNSVILLE — Local Cub Scouts from the Spruce Pine Pack 505 and Burnsville Pack 502 worked hard on Saturday, Nov. 14 to plant trees at Cane River Park in Yancey County. The park, which was seriously damaged due to flooding last year, now has a dozen new shade trees around the baseball fields.
