Back to back to back. For the third straight year, the Mountaineer golf team won the 1A West Regional championship. The Mountaineer golf team swept through the regionals with a remarkable score of 301, with their closest opponent 18 strokes behind. This win marks their third consecutive Regional victory, giving them a true three-peat.
Connor Warren led the team with an outstanding 4 under 68 and clinched his third straight 1A West Regional individual title. Brody and Bryce Miller also shone with their impressive rounds in the 70s, while Peyton Pitman and Maddox Dale played solidly with rounds in the 80s. The team has now qualified for the 1A NCHSAA State Championships at the 7 Lakes Golf Club near Pinehurst. They are determined to defend their 2023 1A State Championship.
