The Mountaineer football team has embraced a new tradition aimed at fostering team spirit and motivating players during off-season workouts.

The introduction of a championship belt, along with the prestigious title of “Mountaineer Man,” has added a new dimension to the team’s activities.

The title and belt are awarded to the player who emerges victorious in a specific day’s competition. The inaugural winner of this coveted title was #60 Bryce Miller, whose teammates surrounded him as he proudly raised the belt above his head. Subsequently, other deserving players such as Hayden Quinn Moore and #8 Chris Wences have also basked in the glory of holding the championship belt.

As the team continues to strive for excellence, the question that looms large is: Who will be crowned the next Mountaineer Man? Only time will reveal the answer as the players continue to prove themselves.
