Coach Hannah MacIntosh held tryouts for JV and Varsity Girls’ Basketball travel teams on March 9. 18 girls from 8th grade through 12th grade participated in the tryouts and were evaluated on criteria such as passing, dribbling, proficiency in running drills, and teamwork.
Coach MacIntosh and her staff are veterans in the field of skill assessment, with every single coach having extensive experience playing and/or coaching basketball at various schools.
The girls that turned out for the tryouts worked their hardest to impress the coaches present, which will make Coach Mac’s decision process very difficult. Rosters will be announced later this week.
