SPRUCE PINE, N.C.— Barbara Hasty age, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the Yancey House. She was a resident of Spruce Pine since 1999. She was the daughter of the late Earl Wagner and Helen Gunnewick Wagner. Barbara enjoyed quilting, sitting on the porch watching the birds, going to Walt Disney World and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving is her loving husband of 54 years Edward Hampton Hasty; daughter, Andrea Tallent (George) of Gainsville, GA; son, Scott Hasty (Douglas Blocker) of Washington, DC; grandchildren: Nicolas Tallent of Athens, GA, and Stephanie Smith (Kyle) of Cumming, GA; sister-in-law, Barbara Redfern of Wilmington, NC and brother-in-law, Charles Hasty of Palatka, FL.
