SPRUCE PINE — Harris Middle School earlier this month released its list of the latest winners of the Harris Award, which goes to students with the highest average in their group for math, reading, social studies or science.
In sixth grade winners were Ambrose Brown, Kaden Buchanan, Brianna Nutter, Ella Appling Tipton, Ayden Woody, Alice Blevins, Abigail Hedrick, Jacoby Dale, Collin McFalls, Erandi Reyes-Pashuamba, Landrie Gentry, Ashlee Ledford and Mayra Nino-Herrera.
Seventh grade winners include Emma Holden, Alli McClellan, Chance Clark, Elli Horney, Tate Pitman, Maddie Horney, Breleigh York, Lincoln Smith, Joslynn Jones, Jesus Hernandez-Martinez, Erin Elsaesser, Daniel Quinto and Gavin Burleson.
Eighth graders Ayla Barnett, Roy Fabian, Jacob Ledford, Chloe Cook, Nanci Romero, Adrianna Miller, Ivy Young, Karson Dale, Renaldo Silva-Santiago and Trinity Gardner also won Harris Awards.
