Along with the titles comes the opportunity to compete at the Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen competition next summer.

Miss Emerald Ridge will receive a $1,000 scholarship to further her education.

Each of the new title holders will promote their personal social impact initiative during their year.

Tickets are $12. There are no presale tickets.

With a donation of a non-perishable food item, the ticket price goes to $10 regardless of the number of donated items. Tickets are cash only.

Miss North Carolina Karolyn Martin and North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen Kerrigan Brown will be special guests. The current Miss Emerald Ridge Hannah Harvey and Emerald Ridge Outstanding Teen Jalon Blackwell will also be on hand to crown their successors.

Mitchell County native Kelly Jones will emcee the event.

In the Miss division, three candidates will compete in private interview, on-stage questions, talent and evening attire.

Ten Carolina Princesses will accompany those candidates as part of the Carolina Princess Mentorship Program.
