Brian Hobson has joined the Mitchell News-Journal editorial team as a sports reporter. Hobson will be covering sports in Mitchell County, including varsity, junior varsity and middle school sports.
Brian, along with his wife Dana and their eight-year-old twins, Connor and Molly, resides in Spruce Pine.
With a deep passion for local sports and a rich background in blogging, Brian brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to MNJ sports coverage.
