Mitchell County Department of Social Services this past week hosted an on-site event with the NC Managed Care Enrollment Broker and Vaya Health.
Tammy Nelson represented the NC Managed Care Enrollment Broker, providing information to Medicaid beneficiaries about enrollment with a Managed Care plan.
Estefania Hercules of Vaya Health provided Medicaid beneficiaries with information regarding enrollment with a Managed Care Tailored plan.
Tailored plans offer enhanced Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disability Care Management for Medicaid Beneficiaries, who are also enrolled with a Managed Care plan.
“Mitchell County DSS will continue to host monthly on-site events with the NC Managed Care Enrollment Broker and Vaya Health,” said Michelle Hobson, Mitchell DSS Medicaid supervisor. “These events give our community access to information about these topics from the people who understand it best.”
