SPRUCE PINE, N.C.— Sharon Clifton Huskins of Deer Park Lake Road, Spruce Pine, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A native of Caldwell County, she was the daughter of Joyce Moore Clifton and the late Bruce Clifton. Sharon was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and worked for The Quartz Corporation for 36 years. She was a dedicated wife of 35 years, mother, and was lovingly called “Gi” by her grandsons. She enjoyed going on family vacations to the beach, taking her grandsons to Dollywood as well as shopping with her daughters.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Joyce, is her husband, David Huskins of the home; her daughters: Danica and husband, Daniel Ray and Darby Huskins all of Spruce Pine; grandsons who she adored, Declan and Daxton Ray and a brother, Jim Clifton and wife, Pat, of Bristol, VA.  Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, her loving church family and her dedicated work family also survive. 

Private Graveside services were held on Friday, December 4th in the Fairview Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Toby Crowder will officiate.
