Spruce Pine manager retires after 27 years

FEMA extends app deadlines

At the request of Gov. Roy Cooper, North Carolina Tropical Storm Helene survivors now have until Feb. 6 to apply for assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, according to a FEMA release.

School bands put on Christmas concert

Canipe back as interim manager

Spruce Pine approves temporary housing
