Mayland nursing students pass NCLEX exam

All of Mayland Community College’s 2023 Associate Degree in Nursing graduates successfully completed and passed the Next Generation National Council Licensure Examination, the college announced this past week.

The Next Generation NCLEX is a rigorous examination designed to assess the competency of nursing graduates in providing safe and effective patient care. With an evolving healthcare landscape, it is crucial for nursing professionals to possess the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the demands of the industry. 

Under the guidance and expertise of our esteemed faculty members, the 2023 ADN graduates demonstrated competence and commitment throughout their academic journey. They have shown dedication, perseverance and a genuine passion for nursing, contributing to their success in their exams.

Kim Ledford, dean of health sciences and director of nursing at Mayland, said she’s proud of the 2023 ADN graduates.

 “We are thrilled to announce a 100% pass rate on the Next Generation NCLEX for this year’s ADN graduates,” she said. “Their success is a testament to their hard work, the dedication of our faculty, and the comprehensive nursing program we offer at Mayland Community College.”
