Organizers expect 3000-plus fans at benefit show
Local craft and food vendors are invited to apply to operate at the Oliver Anthony Benefit Concert on Saturday, April 5, according to an announcement from Downtown Spruce Pine. (This is for consideration for the event and does not guarantee a spot.)
The application deadline is Monday, March 17, at 5 p.m. Those who are selected will be notified by email.
Those interested should submit all documentation (including the application fee) with the application. If this information is not submitted by March 17, the event coordinator reserves the right to replace the applicant’s truck at the concert with another vendor.
The craft booth fee will be $50 (per 12 by 12 booth space). There will be no refunds after applicants are accepted. Trash must be removed at the breakdown time. The event organizers will not provide grease barrels or water.
The nonprofit booth fee is $25. Applicants in this category must provide nonprofit paperwork with the application.
Set-up and take-down: Set-up will start April 5 at 8 a.m. (early setup is not allowed).
After the festival ends, all areas must be cleared and vehicles moved by 12 midnight. Food vendors will be required to stay open at all hours of the concert. Craft vendors can pack up at 6 p.m.
There is no rain date and no refunds in case of rain. The concert sponsor will not be held responsible for accidents, damages or other losses incurred by vendors. Raffles are not permitted.
Application fee payments should be mailed to: Downtown Spruce Pine, 165 Locust Street, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
