A busy week for Mountaineer football ended Friday in Burnsville as the Mitchell Mountaineer varsity football team came up short in their bid to defeat Mtn.

The Mitchell High varsity football game broke a close game open in the second half en route to a 35-18 win at Owen on Friday, Sept. 22. 

The Mitchell High varsity football team overcame a slow start and blew out visiting Madison 29-9 during homecoming night in Ledger on Friday, Sept. 15. 

The Mitchell High varsity football team kept its unblemished record intact, moving to 4-0 with a 20-3 win at Andrews on Friday, Sept. 8 in the regular season non-conference finale.
