Jayne Lewis Phillips

BURNSVILLE — Jayne “Granny” Lewis Phillips, 81, of Phillips Road, Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord April 22, 2016. She was a native of Mitchell County and a daughter of the late Jess and Lovinah Barnett Lewis.

Survivors include children, Eddie Lewis, and wife, Jerri, of Marion, Carol Honeycutt, and husband, Grant, of Green Mountain, Doug Phillips, and wife, Rhonda, of Marion, John Phillips, and wife, Michelle, of Burnsville, and Angie Penland, and husband, Mikel, of Saltville, Virginia; 14 grandchildren, Sonya, Tonya, Reid, Cole, Dustin, Amanda, Erica, Jason, Sarah, Josh, Matthew, Bethany, Mikel and Gabriel; five great-grandchildren, Lloyd, Will, Isabella, Bulma, Willis,  granny’s liebchen’s; Dakota, Keith, William, Levi, Curt, Caden, Ethan, Logan, Mikayla, Sabrina, Sierra, Jenn, Victoria, Deseree and Ashley.

Funeral services were 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, in the chapel of Henline- Hughes Funeral Home. 

Denny Wilson and Keith Miller officiated. 

The family received friends two hours prior to the service. Interment was 1 p.m.  Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Phillips-Howard Cemetery.

Henline-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the Phillips family.
