James Henry Street

James Henry Street Jr., born July 17, 1970, of the Buladean Community, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019. Henry graduated from Mitchell High School and then from Mayland Community College with a degree in electronics engineering. He was employed by Sibelco. 

He was a lifelong member of Middle District Free Will Baptist Church in Buladean and a member of the Mayland Community College Board of Trustees since 2016. Henry was an avid farmer and a true lover of nature. He was most at ease when he and his family were spending time together, especially outdoors.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Robyn; his son, Caleb (Morgan), of Buladean; his daughters, Mikayla, McKenzie and McKenna, of the home; his parents, Henry and Judy Street, of Buladean; his sister, Dawn Blackburn (Patrick), of Asheville; three nephews; one niece; and a host of family members, friends, a loving church and community.

Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Middle District Freewill Baptist Church with Scotty Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at The Charlie and Frances Street Family Cemetery.
