Spruce Pine location is No. 3 for Twisted Laurel owners

It is official, Mitchell County has a new restaurant at Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club in Spruce Pine.

Anthony Randolph and his partners, all local to Western North Carolina, opened their third restaurant serving Greek, Italian and American food – Twisted Laurel.

With other restaurants are in Asheville and Weaverville, their business philosophy is centered on providing the best possible food and service while supporting the local community and using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Randolph has known Bruce Leverette, general manager and golf pro at Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club, for 30 years, so when this opportunity became available, he jumped on it, he said.

Event space is available as well as catering. Twisted Laurel is open six days a week, closed on Monday, serving lunch and dinner specials and Sunday brunch. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 2360 Swiss Pine Lake Drive in Spruce Pine.
