Flack to pay tribute to Nelson, Jennings
The Orchard at Altapass will host the second evening concert from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, in its summer season of live music when singer, songwriter and musician Randy Flack pays tribute to country’s greats Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
Flack grew up in Bryson City, then a small town just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He began writing and performing in his early teens and now boasts a repertoire in the hundreds. Although not as rebellious as Nelson and Jennings, his respect for the men as artists and appreciation for their talent have intrigued for decades.
Tickets will be available at the door for $10. The Orchard General Store will be open and offering refreshments.
