Choir of Trinity Church to sing Evensong for Feast of All Saints

The Choir of Trinity Church will sing the service of Evensong at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, for the Feast of All Saints.

Evensong is the sung setting of the Book of Common Prayer’s evening prayer service.

Music for the evening includes Sergi Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise” sung by soprano Rachel O’Reilly, “Magnificat” and “Nunc Dimittis in G Major” by Herbert Sumsion, from Gabriel Faure’s Requiem “Libera Me” with tenor soloist Scott Walters and “In Paradisum” and the Closing Voluntary will be Felix Mendelssohn’s “Prelude and Fugue in G Minor” played by Trinity’s organist and choirmaster Robert P. Bell III.

A reception will follow Evensong.
