10 a.m. - Friend or Foe

Can you guess which animal is which? Stop by and learn about animals along the Blue Ridge Parkway that may be thought of as an enemy, but are actually a good animal to have around.

7 p.m. - Would You Look at That

The Blue Ridge Parkway is home to a variety of animal, and one of the common questions asked by visitors is how can I see...? Well, when you turn on a camera, it turns out that all types of animals looking to be a star. Join a ranger for a behind-the-lens look at the animals of the Parkway, and hear about what makes them unique. Approximately 45 minutes in length

10 a.m. - A Chorus in the Forest: Frogs and Toads of the Blue Ridge

Twelve different species of frogs and toads make the Blue Ridge Mountains their home.  Learn more about these fascinating amphibians and why they are such an important indicator for the health of the environment.

2 p.m. - Water Off a Mammal’s Back

Mountain streams along the Blue Ridge Parkway thrive with a variety of wildlife. Stop by and learn about the mammals that are specially adapted to make them their home.

7 p.m. – Aquatic Adaptation

What does it take to live, survive, and make your home in an environment full of water? Come and join a ranger to explore the world of various animals found in or near the water along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and learn how they have adapted to meet the demands of the aquatic environment. Approximately 45 minutes in length
