BAKERSVILLE, NC-Randy Eugene Burleson, age 64, of Bakersville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 at his home.
A native of Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Edith Buchanan Burleson of Bakersville and the late Chester Burleson, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Beirhaus and a stepson, Travis Sharp. Randy was a member of Fork Mountain Baptist Church and Fork Mountain Fire Department.
He loved hunting, fishing, and was an outdoorsman.
He was a very giving man who made everyone laugh.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, “Jackie” Jacquiline Burleson; daughters: Crystal Turnbull of Virginia and Deniese Black and husband, Chris, of Bluffton, SC; son, Joseph Sharp and wife, Jill, of West River, MD; grandchildren: Alex, Eddie, Aubrey, Brandon, Kaileigh, Alexis, Austen, Gabriella, and Jean-Paul; brother, Roger Burleson and wife, Darlene, of Bakersville; and brother-in-law, Allen Beirhaus of Maryland. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
